Steering system will not work. Tried to loosen the fluid lines to the valves and tried to turn steering but no squirting fluid although fluid level is ok. Also, where can I get a copy of the repair manual for this dozer? Can some out there help?

simon, try the guys at www.ibdozing.com , they discuss more of the construction equipment and someone might be able to get you a manual. they steering is hydraulic. there is a small pump on back of the engine, converter that sucks oil out of the rear steering compartment. the oil from the pump goes thru a filter on the side of the tractor, then to the steering valves below the seat. take the filter off and see if it is plugged. also check that pump is pumping.i forget, but there might be a suction screen canister on the inlet to the pump. check that also.
