I just purchase the above tractor, when driving it home about 14 miles the rear axle got hot and a weird smell, there are holes on each side below the seat by the foot rest board. And some smoke came out of there too.
Any Help on what happen and if this is a problem with something not getting lubacaited?

Those holes are for the brake rods to activate the brakes. The brakes might have been set up too tight before you got it. One of the springs holing brake halves together may have broke causing brake drag. The brake lock may have been partially applied causing brakes to drag hard on the way home.

Sounds like you were driving with the brakes set.
