D15 Carb Float///How do you set it//John Deere man

Working on brother in laws tractor. what is the proper way to set the float? the carb is a marvel/schrebel type,, I spelled that wrong,, I can make them green one run,,,But I need some help with this orange one. Thanks Ben.

The float level on Marvels are 1/4 inch measured between float and carbureator base.Bend float with needle nose pliers to get proper deminsion. While you have float off check needle and seat. If the carb. was flooding over I would replace needle and seat while I had carb. apart.
