Where is the best point on the back of a C to place jack? I think with some blocks I could jack it down low by the drawbar, or would a tall jack placed up under the final be safer? Its out in the field so when I get it jacked up, I won't be able to use a jackstand because it is too damp and will sink so I'll have put a fresh cut log or something under it. Thanks in advance.

drawbar frame should be adequate to lift the tractor, not that heavy. use shirt 2 x 8, rail road ties, etc for blocking. round logs can roll, keep that in mind. safety above all.
