Need help identifying engine!

I recently purchased a replacement engine for my 1948 Allis Chalmers W Speed Patrol grader and the engine bolted up fine. When I started to bolt on the coolant manifold, I found that the bolt holes match up, but the water ports in the top of the head do not match up to the ports in the coolant manifold. The front port is wider than the manifold. I need to find a water manifold designed for this engine, but I'm not sure which model tractor it is from. The engine serial number (on the left side of the block, just under the exhaust manifold) is 45-91087-G. Just above that number is K27G. I would appreciate anyone's help with a Model ID. Any suggestions where to find the right water manifold would be a big help, too. Thanks.

Thanks for the help, Jim. Thanks to Jim Lux, who e-mailed too. I'll be calling tomorrow to get the part located and ordered.

We recently had a chance to try out the new Storm Cover for the Ford 9N, 2N and 8N tractor that is now being re-introduced to a new generation of Ford N-Series tractor owners. Originally produced more than 40 years ago, it is now enjoying a reproduction run that has been licensed by the Ford Motor Company. An original storm cover was used for the pattern, and this reproduction cover is indeed exactly as the original (of which we had previously only seen pictures of in miscellaneous old sale ...
