Model C seat cushion

I have been in the process of tearing down my model C and restoring it. I'm finally in the reassembly phase and pulled out the brand new seat cushion I ordered from Sandy Lake. It fits fine side to side but front to back it is about 1 inch short of filling the angle iron.

This tractor did not have the original seat before I started (I found a used frame on this site) so I don't know if the cushion is supposed to fit this way or not. I really can't believe it is supposed to fit this way! The angle iron frame is approx 28 1/2 wide and 15 3/4 deep however the seat cushion is only about 14 1/2 deep. Did they ship me the wrong cushion? I've never had any problems with anything I've bought from them in the past...

The angle iron frame on my C is the same size as the one you have. My cushon [ the tractor one I mean] is 15 1/2 inches so you are some what narrow.
