I have a '52 model CA. Both Hydraulic cylinders are pitted, does anyone know what it might cost to have them repaired (rechromed)? Also How do these cylinders operate, extend and retract or extend and let gravity retract? Thanks

Those are gravity down. I had mine done and it was $50.00 each and they were repacked and like new. I bet you could get it for less if you shopped around.

Good luck

You can repack your cylinders but if the rods are pited the seals won't last long.I bought 2 rods about 4 years ago from an Agco dealer that found them it the back of the parts room.He said he thought they were not available from Agco anymore.
