Does anyone know where to find the serial number on a "U". Also, what would a ball park value be for one with good paint and rubber in good running condition? I would like to talk to any owners out there ASAP! Thanks, Eldon

Good paint, rubber and runs good. That is pretty good for a U. In my neck of the woods it would bring around $2000. I would not sell mine for less than $2500

A friend offered to bid on one for me at an auction....I just don't know much about them.

Here is a link to Bryan Smith's page with serial number locations. Sorry, can't help you too much with the value.

My name is Sean Brinston and I was 15 almost 16 at the time of this.My neighbour directly across the road who I had helped with hay all the time had this tractor sitiing at his house for what I thought was 6 years. Finally I got the money and courage to ask him. I phoned him and he said it was already sold, eight years ago! ... [Read Article]
