Does anyone know where I can get a good repair
manual for a B.

How is the best way to split the tractor - need to replace bearings and oil pump?
Thanks

I like the factory manual I got from the allischanlmers.com site better than the IT manual that I have.

the I-T shop manual part AC 11 is probably the best book around for details. You can get one at the local Farm Center Store, Tractor Supply, TCS, etc. Covers all the little AC tractors. To split the tractor you need to block under the engine oil pan wit rial road blocks, wedge taper blocks in th efont axle so it will not pivot. Put a chain fall around the trnasmission case up to a beam above, or a roll jack under the transmission. Disconnect the, clutch pedal, steering arm, etc. Pull the 4 bolts connecting the engine to clutch housing (torque tube). ONe guy on each side and roll the rear tires backward, watching the chain fall or floor jack below. IF you dont trust the floor jack or have rough ground, i have also blocked up under the transmission -torque tube and layed a flat 2 x 12 etc under the cases and "skid" the cases back as you roll the rear tires.
