Serial numbers

I have an old allis-chamlers d-10 series 3 tractor. I'm trying to find the serial numbers but have been unsuccessful. If you have an idea of where they would be located please let me know! Thanks!!

The number should be on the front of the torque
housing on the left side. Might be hidden by dirt
and it will have 4 numbers.

My webpage has a picture of the serial number location for a D15 - the D10/D12 is in the same place. Click on Tractor serial number images ...
