No oil at rocker arm

My 18 year old son is reviving an Allis C. He had a JD garden tractor given to him which he swapped for the Allis, so he got it for free. It hadn't run for about 20 years, and a couple of valves were stuck, but he has gotten it running good and it shows good oil pressure (after some priming). Trouble is we can't see any oil at the rocker arm. Is there a line plugged someplace, or what should we be looking for? Thanks for your help, Doug

There is a fitting at the back lower right end of the head. The fitting is feed by a very ( very very ) small line that is feed from a pipe tee where the oil pump output line comes up next to the bell housing and then continues on to the oil filter.

The problem is probably due to the little line being plugged. Have seen that happen on our RC when it was a working tractor. This rases heck with the rockers, hopefully you caught it in time.

Also some varients of the rc/b/c engine had a pipe tee at the head and a line that continued on to the governor ( I think ). If you have this, the second line that continues on may be getting all the oil.

I think that the head is under oiled on these engines, and have considered putting a larger line on, but haven't because of concerns about diverting oil from places that may need it more.

Is there any one else that has seen this and come up with a fix?

Thank you for your help. That is exactly what had happended. The small oil line was plugged. He unplugged it with air and now has good oil flow. Wonder if that is what had originally caused the 2 bent push rods and stuck valves. Thanks again for your help.

Doug, if these little tractors et outside, rain water will run down the exhaust and normally get into the center two cylinders. it is common for the valve stems to get corroded and "stick" this will then cause the push rods to bend. A little WD40 and excercise will normally help. Park inside or use a cup over the pipe.
