Carl, if you look at the torque tube at the trans. shifter there is a number in the casting. This is your serial number! The first letter in the number is your model (B,C or CA).You can use the number to find out the exact year.Mine is # c 8413 which is a 1941.

An Allis C will have a bench seat and will be approximately 45 inches between the rear "drop-down" final drives. An Allis B will also have a bench seat but will be approximately 33 inches between the rear "drop-down" final drives. Both tractors have 3 speed trannys plus reverse. The C is usually narrow front end but could be had with an adjustable wide front. The B was always wide front - either adjustable (like the C) or a fixed arch.

An Allis CA will have a 4 speed tranny plus reverse and a "pan" seat on a shock/spring assembly. If the seat on the tractor is a "pan" seat and is off-center to the right you might have a WC, WD, or WD45.

Nice tractor, Carl. 125 cubic inch engine, 23.3 belt hp on gasoline or 19.4 on tractor fuel (check the engine serial number on the left side flange where it connects to the torque tube - a serial number starting with CE" means 125 cubic inch, one ending with "G" means the higher compression gasoline engine). Rated at 1500 rpm.
