Hi everyone,
I'm new to this AC Board.
I'm trying to determine in what issue of Farm Journal Magazine did the D21 start to be advertised. I can see the ad in my mind still.
It was a colored picture (not a real photograph) but taken as though you were sitting up in a tree that hung out over a driveway. Passing under the tree was a young boy driving a D21 into the yard.
I'd like to start my search for that particular issue but I have no idea when the D21 would have been advertised. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just did a search on ebay for "farm journal".
There are a bunch of ads clipped from farm journal.I Didnt find your exact ad but one of the sellers primary interest is Ag type mags. They may take the time to look if you email them.Or just keep watching ebay.

They made the D-21 from 1963 to 1969 so musta been during or just before that time period, I use to look at every issue but don't remember that particlar picture, course I joined the military about then and might have missed it. Still get Farm Journal, good magazine. LOL in your search.

Today's Featured Article - Measuring with Calipers - by Staff. The legs of inside calipers are curved outward at the extremities to facilitate measuring small holes, while outside caliper legs have a large curve inward to increase their capacity for large work. Firm-joint calipers are adjusted approximately by the hands and then set to the feel of the work by tapping them on a metal surface. It is a common practice when opening calipers by this means to tap the top of the joint. It is better, if possible, to tap the inside of the legs, as repeated blo ... [Read Article]
