I have a problem with my track adjustor taking the grease. It seems like too much pressure, and the expander will not move. It worked fine until I broke the valve holding the grease fitting. Any one know what the problem could be? I did break a drill bit, while taking out the broken fitting, but I was told that if it did not block the opening, then the grease would go around it.

one good check is to remove the grease fitting and then put a 2 x 4 chunk between the track and rear segment. back up a few inches and the wood will get stuck and pull the chain tight, grease should squirt out the filler hole. if it dont, then you have the hole plugged and need to dig deeper into it. also go to www.ibdozing .com , those guys do more "construction equipment" than people on this site.
