Tract-o-matic (How do you post a pic like moonlight stuck?)

Hello All,

Just made a small barter trade for an old loader tractor. It uses an allis WD motor and frame with the steering and drive "backwards". One of the tags says Tract-o-matic and gives the SN# T.L.W 006 (this is from memory so I may be wrong), the other is a Drott tag. It's definitly not a home-made allis "turn around" job. Anyone ever seen such an animal? Im familar with the Drott name but have never heard of Tract-o-matic. May be Drott built the loader and Tract-o-matic put it togerher? I'll see if there are any more tags under the many coats of paint when I get it home.

Sure wish I knew how to post a pic like "stuck in the moonlight". Im sure it would go a long way in helping get what I have already nicknamed "The Basket Case" identified. Lot's-O-jury rigs on this one. Hopefully not too many questions to come in the future.

If you have a digital image posting the picture is easy. My best advice is to go buy a cheap digital camera, play around with it some, then you can post all you like. If you have a photograph of it maybe you could mail it to someone with a scanner, who could scan it and email you the file. Good luck, Fireman

Thanks Fireman, but I have the digital photo on file. I just cant figure out how to load it into a "lead" post like the guy that stuck his tractor plow'in by moonlight. (Buried mine the same way tryin to finish up. Wish I had a pic...stuck even worse!)

First step is to post it in a photo page, like the albums on this site or open a free account on a site like imagestation.com or a few more out there. I have an imagestation account, really like it. For this site, click on "Tractor Photos" then follow instructions for adding your picture. Make sure you know the file name so you can find it once you hit "Browse". Once it is posted somewhere you can right click on it and then on "properties". Select the URL and then right click on the selection and click on "Copy". You can then paste the URL in the box titled "Optional Image URL" below. Good luck, hope I didn't confuse you too much! Fireman
