Howdy all,

This summer for an FFA Chapter fundraiser, I was thinking of having a large plow day for all of the folks in our area. I would invite all breeds of old tractors, reds, both shades of green, oranges, yellows, balcks, purples (Plus any others) to plow in the field for the heck of it. Here's my question, if I made a video of the tractors, would any of you all be interested in helping a FFA Chapter out by purchasing some of these plow day video's? I would probably sell them for between 15 and 20 dollars and the money would help benefit our chapter. I would try to make the video about an hour and a half and show every sound and color of tractor. If you might be interested, then post a reply to this message and tell me that you would and talk me into doing this. I know there are tons of older farmers out there that would love to see some of the tractors that they grew up on out in the field again. But, thanks for reading, and reply if your interested.

Thanks,

Jared Jeffries

Great idea. i love to watch old tractors plow (especially Two Poppers, but thats another board). i am a young'un, but i think that would be a great idea. BUT, for more bang for our buck, make it an hour long video and maybe interview some of the old timers, that would be pretty cool.

For the plow day, you should have it like a tractor show, and have some show tractors set up, and some booths set up, and my favorite, you should have a booth set up where a few mechanics tear into an engine and replace the rings or something like that.

Make sure that you advertise months in advance, and make sure that you clear it with the town board in your area, b/c you might need to set up some signs and whatnot.

later,
doug
