D17, D19 diesel wanted?

I'm interested in buying a D17 or maybe a D19 diesel. Some earlier comments (3 pages back) were very helpful as I've never owned an AC tractor--only a Ford. Was the 262 cu-in diesel a good engine or not? What about the turbo? Does it hold up well? I know they're not cheap to rebuild. And since AC isn't in business, what about major parts such as blocks, heads, crankshafts, etc?

That being said--if anyone knows about a good deal on a rebuildable (or better) D17 or D19 diesel please send email and photos if possible.
