the fuel gauge float on my tractor is saturated with gas that it no longer floats. any ideas on how to fix it.

Stick a stick in the tank until it hits bottom, pull it out and you will see how much fuel there is in the tank. Works depenably and is easy to fix. Can by used on many different tractors, is cheap.

just fixed a new float on my d-15 go to the hardware store get new cork drill hole for rod dip in shelac and dry twice put cork on rod seal cork on rod with j-b weld re-install to gas tank and fixed.
