In the past six months my 1940 Allis B was stolen from storage in Sequim Washington. My husband had restored it in 1988 and died in 1990. The tractor was missing the seat and had a bar welded to the clutch as he was in a wheel chair. Any information is appreciated. Officer Michael Dick with the Clallam County Sheriff's department is handling the investigation.

Do you know the serial number? Was it electric start/lights? Did it have hydraulics? The information you gave was very vague as the clutch pedal could have been replaced and a seat put back on.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I will recomend that you try and find every implement auction area in your state and ones around you including Canada; as they might find it on the consigned are's. Also check "E-bay" luck and good health.

I have been a collector of Farmall tractors since 1990 when I first obtained part of the family farm in Eastern Indiana. My current collection includes a 1938 F20, 1945 H, 1946 H, and the recently purchased 1951 H. This article will focus on what I encountered and what I did to bring the 1951 NEAR DEATH Farmall H back to life. ... [Read Article]
