I have an Allis WC that I want to partially restore. The engine has been very strong and I didn't plan to touch it, but I haven't been using the tractor because it needs new wiring and a couple of other small things. I have been turning the engine over now and then with the hand crank. The last time it turned over was probably around November? I tried to turn it in March but it is now frozen. I pulled it up the road with the H and tried to free it up by popping the clutch but the wheels just slide. Any good ideas?

Try pouring diesel fuel inside the cylinders and let it set for a while. Then pull the plugs out so you dont bend a rod when trying to turn it over.We just did this to an A john deere. Its been sitting in a shed for over 10 years,Never been turned over while sitting. We brought it home and tried pulling it and popping the clutch,it did not work.We poured diesel inside the cylinders. It sat for 30 min.And we got it to turn over.Hope this will help,Terry.
