I am considering a 3-point hitch on my model B.Can anyone out there tell me the maximum weight I could expect to lift?

The hydraulics alone will probably lift 1,000 lbs, but you have to consider the stresses put on the rest of the tractor specifically the torque tube. I have a worksaver on my B. I use it all the time now. I made brackets and hung a farmall A wheel weight under the bell housing. If I put 500 lbs on a carry all, the front wheels barely touch the ground.

don, the trouble with the B is it dont have no weight in the front. Your three point will probably lift 1500 pounds, but the front end will come up if you get over 400 on the three point. helps to have suitcase weights, or belly weights on this size tractor to give it a little "help"
