Good morning from southern Indiana. Where is the best place to purchase brake linings for my 1952 CA? Spring is here, my son is 15 and can help with the mowing on flat areas and I need to get the brakes working before I'll let him on it. Should I have the drums turned too?

DON'T turn the drums. They are so hard to replace and expensive, and that will just make them wear out faster. Complete bands can be gotten from a parts catalog I've had good experience with, their number is 1-888-828-3276.

Southern IN.? How close are you to Evansville? If you are close, "Brake Supply" has linning material you need. I just did my D14. They would have relined my shoes for about $60.00 I got the stuff from them and did them myself - saved about $45.00 Trent Henderson, KY
