I have a similar tractor but a D-17. The cane conversion on mine came from Thompson Machinery out of Thibideaux Lousiana. Look on the front axle to see if it has some raised lettering stating Thompson Machinery. I had a bunch of trouble getting bushings and wheel bearings from the standard AC dealers. I had to go to a bearing dealer for the front wheel bearings and had some bushings made for the king pins and front axle swivel point.

I have what I believe is Thompson lift kit for a wide front CA.Came of of a high crop CA I had in La. It had 36 inch fixed rear wheels from Thompson. I kept the complete package when I took it off including the spindle braces. If interested makeme an offer. It is located in NW Ark. H.B.

First thing to do is get down on your knees and give thanks for your luck because the genuine article is a rare thing indeed! They were used not only for cane but also for rice.
