Aaron, I have a one row planter and fertilizer applicator for my B. It fits on the same frame as does the one row cultivator. The drive from the planter comes from a webb chain sprocket mounted on the left outside wheel hub. Web chain runs up to the planter. You move a second smaller web chain between the planter and fertilizer applicator to run each. A rod is attached to the cultivator frame that runs up to the planter which stops the planter drive when the runner opener is lifted from the soil. Will send pictures if desired.....

The B was a 1 row tractor. If you have a 2 row planter that is tractor-mounted (that is, meant ot be mounted on the tractor in front of the rear wheels) then you have a planter for a C or CA (or even a WD). The C had a wider distance between the rear final drives than the B, hence two rows - the B is about 33" between the final drives inside, while the C is about 45".

Field Modifications (Sins of the Farmer) - by Staff. Picture a new Chevrolet driving down the street without it's grill, right fender and trunk lid. Imagine a crude hole made in the hood to accommodate a new taller air cleaner, the fender wells cut away to make way for larger tires, and half of a sliding glass door used to replace the windshield. Top that off with an old set of '36 Ford headlight shells bolted to the hood. Pretty unlikely for a car... but for a tractor, this is pretty normal. It seems that more often than not they a
