George, I made a copy of the D grader brochure and put it the mail yesterday, Thru April 4, 2002. I asked the postal worker how long it would take to get to you and she said it all depends on the Canadian postal system. Hopefully the Canadian system is better then the U.S. postal system. Keep the windrows down!, Phil.

Hi George. Will try to send out the info by this weekend on the D grader. I was at a large farm auction on Saturday. There was an old grader there, but it had no engine. Radiator, hood, was there, but NO engine. I had looked at the machine quite a few times and thought it was a Galion 503, which is Galion's small grader. I met an old friend there and we got to chattin' and looking at the grader. Later I saw him again, and he said,"Hey ,that's not a Galion, its an Allis Chalmers". I went over to look at the serial # plate, and sure enough, It was a late model AC D grader, the one with the square tube frame. I tried to convince him that we should buy it together. He has a junk yard that was only 1/2 mile from the sale. I left the sale, then turned around and came back, just as they were getting ready to auction off the grader. My friend had become invisible. Well the grader was bought for one bid $100.00. Yep, only $100.00. I sure would have liked to have bought that guy, but I have no place to keep something so big. Hopefully, the new buyer will try to bring the machine back to life instead of taking the torch to it. Phil
