Busted B block

Dadgummit, didn't pay attention when I tore it down but was looking at it again the other day and my block is busted at the top between 1&2 and 2&3 guess I got some B parts for sale.

Just finished re-building a a/c B with the same problem. I'v run it, checked the water & oil and all seems fine. should not be a problem.

what do you mean by busted?? a crack about the width of a piece of paper? how do the liners fit? listen to Dick, its probalby o.k.

Yeah it's a hair line crack, haven't tried any new liners yet, but the old ones (cleaned up as best I could) seem to still fit ok. Thanks for your input.

I doubt you have a bad block, most B and C blocks are cracked at the top between cylinders. If they have not spread apart the head gasket will seal them fine.

Hey Dick thanks for the info I was thinking mabye the head gasket would seal it as it is a hair line cracks.
