Can't find ser# on a 210 AC

bought a 210AC need to order some parts and need the ser# it's supposed to be on the left front end of torque housing,I can't find it.I've removed the front cab mounts and the battery boxes and all the floorboard and it just aint there.has anyone had any expierence with this?

Here's the website for the serial number location. If the 210 is the same as a 190 (I think it is but don't remember - it's noted on the site) it should help. I do remember the 200 serial number is on the *right* side of the tractor rather than the left ....!

Also, I think the fellow posting here as Bryan Smith is the one from Clemson University who posts pictures of serial number locations on AC tractors. Wish that info was in the sidebar on this board, it would really help out those of you with difficulty in finding the number. Much easier to explain than using clocks! Good luck.

If it's supposed to be on the front of the torque housing, I suspect they mean like on the D series tractors. That location is where the engine is bolted into the tractor. The number is not on the engine block, but immediately to the rear of it, on the left front edge of the next casting, which is the torque housing. It is visible from above, in the 10-11 o'clock position, if you picture the flywheel area as a clock.
