When my dad was 12 or so(now 47) he came upon an allis UC, 1931 as he recalls. He helped my pap out on the farm and they had 3 other tractors and my dad just decided that he wanted his own personal tractor so he ended up with it for $100. Then the years passed and there was just not a need for it any more so he sold it to a fella for $900. The fella that bought it said that he was gonna take it straight to the mechanic and paint man to give it an all over restore. That was ten years ago and one sunday we went to see the fella to ask if we could look at the tractor and it was still sitting in his front yard rusting. We now have the chance to buy it again and i was just wondering how rare of a tractor this was. In any event I would like to have it back just because it was my fathers. Any help will be greatly appriciated.

THE U-C WAS QUITE A 'HORSE' IN ITS DAY. ALL OF THE OLD FARMERS HERE IN IOWA THAT I HAVE TALKED TO WHO HAD EXPERIENCE WITH U-C'S SAY THAT THEY WOULD PULL A 3-14 PLOW ALL DAY LONG UP ANY HILL YOU COULD FIND.
