HELP! I have a 1954 wd-45. The carb. is a marvel-schebler and the no. on carb. tag is tsxu-836.I went to a local dealer and he said that no such no. and no overhaul kit no!!! HELP!!!! anyone? thanks to all!

I was in tractor supply on Sunday and I was surprised to see a new carb. for these WD,s lying on the shelf. I think somewhere around $150.. You might check thier catelog. or www.tractorsupply

First, try NAPA, CarQuest, and the other auto parts stores. Some of these carbs were used on a variety of engines.

Second, try Zenith Fuel Systems (link below) - they own Marvell Schebler and Zenith carbs. They may have a replacement recommendation.

Third, have your AGCO dealer (or Sandy Lake Implement) look for parts in stock at other dealers - they just might have some new old stock that would work for you. I found a gas tank extension for my B (fits between the sediment bowl and the gas tank) that way.
