At what serial number on a unstyled WC did Allis-Chalmers go from having a straight hood to hood with the curved part towards the front of the hood? I just bought a WC (serial #19609) that is missing the hood and radiator, I just wanted to know which parts I should be looking for.

I have asked this question several times and never recieved an ansewer. I can say that I have never seen a '35 with the curved part at the front of the hood and I have never seen a '36 without the curve. I think that the change happened very close to the year change if not right on it. But knowning Allis they ran out the stock of the old style hoods before changing over.

rod it looks like a 35 wc by the serial no. Does yours have a handcrank only. This are very strong tractors, I have only seen a few running. steve
