Hi I am looking at a B in the local paper's classified section. It seems to have the rear wheel center sections from a C on it "the deep dished ones" with 5 lug bolts. I have seen B's with the flat wheel centers that look sort of like a WC's and only have the center nut and semi flat ones with lug bolts that seem to be reversable for a little bit of wheel offset. Was this available from the factory like this or did some one put some parts on it that they had laying around. It looks to have been the way it is for a while though and does seem to fit together well, I was just wondering if I was looking at a spare parts special. Thanks for any info. Gus

The parts book notes that hub is for something like a B "with the 40" to 68" tread option" or something similar (this from memory). My 1950 has it with the adjustable wide front end.

They came from the factory like that when you ordered a B with an adjustable wide front end.

sometime about 1950, or shortly there after you could buy the B with the 5 bolt hubs. I have seen several this way, and they are all 1950 or later models.
