I am looking for information on how to mount a manual lift two way plow on a 1947 Allis Chalmers B.

Rod(NH), Great post. I have a C and a single bottom plow similar to the one on your picture. In your book do they have a picture on how to set up the wheel dishes and rims. I know it makes a difference on how straight it pulls. Manuals on the AC equipment for the B's and C's are pretty hard to find.

Thanks,

Hi John, the manual I have has several diagrams of plow installation on both the B and C. It also provides some set-up and adjustment instructions for both tractors. Both manual and hydraulic lifts are covered. If you wish, I would be glad to email a copy to you. No cost. It's a 1.2mb pdf file.

Hi Nadine,

If your hardware looks anything like the picture, I can help you. The ones shown are made by Allis for both the B and C. There is at least one another version of plows made for the B by WIARD Plow Co. that does not have all that mechanism located behind the seat in the picture. Let me know if yours appears like what is shown and I can email you the pages from the manual that show where everything goes.
