The A/C model B I am restoring has run into a snag.It seems that the engine cuts off when I hit a bump in any gear at about 3/4 to full throttle while the engine id hot. Then it doesn't want to crank back up. It does not have this problem while the engine is cold it cranks fine and runs great at any throttle setting .the gas valve is on the whole time. any help would be appreciated

Ya got a bare wire somewhere. It is probably where the wire going to the mag goes thru the loop under the thermostat box. It could be a bunch a places even the wire that runs from the points to the trminal that comes thru the mag case. Just take one wire off at a timeto find it, but if you take the wire off at the magmeto and it still does it then your back to the magneto

Because it happens when you go over a bump it is probably a wire. However had a similar problem. When the condenser got hot it would short out and the tractor would stop. By the time you got off and checked things out, maybe took of the distributor cap and looked at things and put it back on, the tractor would start. New condenser fixed it.

I have checked all the wire and I can't find a bare one. I think it gets too much fuel.when it does cut off I find gas dripping from the carb. I can drain the bowl and it cranks and runs fine. thanks for the help.
