Laugh all you want fella's, but I quit working on classic cars because they got too expensive. Now I'm going to be squeezed out of antique tractors too! I guess I'll have to take up underwater basket weaving , or something? By the way, I have a spare F12 Farmall (for parts)if anyone is interested in giving me $4000 for it. I think it's one of a kind. (hehehe).

Scott

Cant wait till he posts here looking for info and testin the waters to see if he paid too much....We should play along with it. May be I can sell him the only unstyled 1937 WC ever made!...A deal at only $50,000. (We'll use the money for a huge YT mag party this summer-And make sure there are lots of old Farmalls and JD's for the Allis's to pull around backwards.

"A fool and his money are soon parted". However that may have been the only thing in California worth $27,000. Wonder what a good J.D. or Farmall would bring???

That tractor was in the latest issue of Antique Power. It said things like the castings had all been polished smooth so I guess there was a lot of labor involved. Don't remember what else made it "special" but it sounds like a yuppie special. Too bad to take a great tractor and spoil it by making it so expensive nobody can afford it.
