Has anybody ever heard of an allis D25. A retired dealer mechanic told me they were a wheatland and pulled like A locomotive.

You're probably thinking of a D-21.

Never heard of one, but you never know. For example; Norm Swinford's Book says that they dismantled all the 8095's when they closed the proving grounds, but I have heard that at least one still exits. Its not for sale though, darnit. And a friend of mine told me today that He knows of a D-21 Front Wheel Assist. Allis would build just about anything if they thought someone would buy it. Just take some time and study the parts books on different tractors and marvel at the different options they offered, and that you have never seen on a tractor.
