Howdy Boys,
I'm sneaking over here from the Ford N board.
I have been looking for wheel weights for My 2N Ford. They don't need to be exact original just something that will work without too much modification. There is a set of Allis Chalmers B weights here local that I can buy. Haven't seen them yet. 150 miles away. I wonder if they would work on my N.
2N rim size is 10 X 28. They have 6 big carriage bolts that bolt the rim to the center wheel.
An allis B or C looks to be about the same size.
But how do the weights attach? Does anyone have some up close pictures of a C or B with and without weights on?
Also what size rims does a B or C use?
We had a B when I was a kid but It's been too long to remember.
I need some weight on my rears but don't want to add fluid. I use it in the woods a lot and am afraid of punctures and leaks.
Any help here would be much appreciated.

Jerry,
The A-C B uses a 24" rear rim. The weights bolt onto the nearly flat center with 2 bolts that are at least 1/2" in diameter. The bolt spacing is 14.5" as I measured it. There are four small notches in the edge of the weight for clearance on the rim clamps and 2 large u-shaped notches for valve stem clearance. If the hole spacing on your N-series wheels matches, they should work.
