Bryan, I did the same thing you did last summer. I have a 49 B, and I saw a CA and looked at it's muffler setup. Same thing you describe. My tractor just had the thru-the-hood muffler, and nothing else. The muffler just clattered around when the engine ran. I went to TSC and they had a muffler bracket laying on a shelf, which sort of resembled the kind used on the CA, except this one only had one hole in it. This was perfect, because like your manifold, mine only has one threaded bolt hole too. So, I bought the bracket (the counter lady couldn't find a price, so sold it to me for $1.50). She said it probably came in some kit, but..... ....Anyway, I had to bend it a little to fit the manifold/muffler offset. Got a bolt and washer that fit my threaded hole, and also a standard muffler clamp. I used the clamp to hold my muffler and the bracket all together real snug. I also used some muffler gasket goop to seal up the seam where the muffler goes into the manifold. Thats it. I'm sure someone sells the proper AC bracket that we both need, but it was just easier (cheaper) for me to buy the parts and make my own. Using the tractor today matter fact (nice weather), and it's still sounding good (muffler wise). I put this all together last November. Hope that helps. Matt
