Does anyone know where I can get front tires for a WC with 17" rims?

The size tire that I need is a 5.50-17/5.25-17. These rims were used prior to 1936, serial number 23529. They are a 17" spoke type nonreversible rim. They look alot like the factory steel wheels with rims on them, and NO they are not cut down steel wheels. Thanks Jerry for the info I will try to e-mail him.

I don't know what size of tires that you need but I have purchased tires before from a man who will. This has been a couple of years ago, so I don't know if he is still in the business. His name is Ewell Tucker Jr. and he goes by Jr. His e-mail address is tires4u@webtv.net I hope that this info will help you out. Have a nice evening. Jerry

All of the WC's I have seen have 16 inch rims. The unstyled WC's have 6 bolt rims and the styled ones have 5 bolt rims. The full one piece steel rims were 17 inch.

The front rims that I have are factory for early 36 and older WC's. I have the rims but I need tires.

I have never heard of 17 inch rims on the early WC's. What do they look like?

All of the WC's with 17" front tires (including pictures in old advertising literature) that I have seen used car tires. I believe that 17" tractor fronts were never manufactured.
