I have a '39 WC which I am trying to restore,it's my first tractor and my first attempt, so I have a few questions. Approximately how much paint do I need to repaint it? All of the wiring is missing, does anyone know how to rewire it,I want to keep the 6volt system. The light switch is missing is there a replacement? Thanks in advance for any replies, I'm sure I'll have more questions later since I've not done any thing like this before.

It is not that hard to rewire a tractor of that vintage. If the tractor is a magneto ingniton there will be no problem to rewire the tractor. There are new switches to replace the old ones. If you can get hold of a manual for the tractor, the wiring will be much easier to figure out the wiring with the diagram that is in the book.
