The series 1 and series 11 were alittle different. Both tractors had 12 volt positive ground systems. the early tractors used an older style regulator with 4 terminals. The "F" terminal goes to the F on the generator. The "B" terminal goes to the amp meter and (other side of ampmeter gose to the battery cable at the starter). On the opposite side of the regulator is a terminal marked "A" or "G" and it it the generator terminal, goes to "A" on generator. Last terminal is marked "L" and goes to the starter switch. It is powered off when key switch is off. The newer style regulator has three terminals. "G", "B", "F". There is no "L". The cutout is internal to the regulator.
