My husband and I need a better tractor for our 82 acre farm. On e-bay is a 185 diesel that looks in nice shape. Will that be enough tractor for our acerage? Want to make some hay and plow about 20 acres. What should we bid at? Are they a good tractor? Thanks for any help

The 185 is a good tractor and produces around
80hp. You could get by with less power say 50hp
which would be cheaper on fuel. Its hard to put
a price on something your buying almost sight unseen. You can email the seller and ask questions
but your taking his word and trusting him to be
honest. Best thing might be to deal with a local
dealer where you can try the tractor and get
service and parts.
