Does any body know what the numbers are for the oil seals for the front axles for a C, also the oil seal numbers for the shaft that goes up inside the houseing,[pedestal] both top and bottom ones? On the -B- rear end I'm looking for the numbers of the seals for the final drive shaft, both of them [one goes inside the houseing that bolts to the rear end, and the other goes on the final drive shaft between the brake and the bearing].Thank You

Dave,

My Napa/CR seal book lists the final drive seals but not clear on the pedistal. Here's the final drive seal numbers for B,C,1B: Inner-11801 Outer-13900
They list in the book "Steering/Dual wheel" seal # 17605. Maybe this is the pedistal seal? Hope this helps you out....

Dave - I'm planning on tearing down my C's tricycle front-end sometime during this next week or so. If I manage to figure out what seals fit this, I'll let you know. You do the same in return if you happen to figure them out before I do! (I had checked at the local NAPA last week and they told me the same thing Steve says.)

Today's Featured Article - On the Road with Dave Gohl: Deere Departed Friend - by Dave Gohl. Have you ever had to part with a dear friend? It's not easy. If it's due to death, your feelings could be in disarray for days, months or even years. Even now after almost 4 years, I still miss my dad. I remember when I was a kid my dad sometimes would tuck my brother and I in at night and we would ask him questions about his childhood on the farm. To this day, it's some of the best stories I've ever heard. And now, I'm so glad that I asked those questions, and if I were a little smarter i ... [Read Article]
