The WD's all ran about 8 to 12 pounds pressure measured at the AC gage on the oil filter housing. This is a by-pass system so you are reading what is getting through the filter, not what is actually in the engine itself. If you use the correct filter, and be certain the center pipe goes up through the filter, then you should read around the center of the gage at high RPM, a lot lower at idle.

You are above normal if you are sure your gage is indicating accurately. The tractors usually run 9 to 12psi. Someone may have shimmed the oil pressure relief valve a little. A tractor with the AC gage should have pressure indicating on the 'o','r', or 'm' according to the operators manual. I have checked the indications of my AC gage at the 'o','r', and 'm' indications and they are 3, 6, and 9 psi respectively. For best results use a gage wherein the center 50% of the gage span is used to provide the indications you are concerned with.

Thanks for the information, Dave. Pressure guage on my tractor isn't an AC guage, it goes from 0 to 100 psi. I just fired it up and it's pretty close to 12 psi. I guess I should buy a real AC guage. Thanks, Bill.
