I found out my female neighbor has a G sitting in the corner of her horse stable. It is all painted nice, flat tires, been sitting for a couple of years. Her father had it and it ran, he was a retired tobacco farmer, but kept it to cultivate his garden. It hasn't been started or moved in 2-4 years. She said something the other day about getting rid of it. I haven't checked to see if it was stuck or not, but assuming it isn't, what's it worth? I would be using it for the garden and probably maybe a couple acres of tobacco if we continue to grow it, but the main reason is my father grew up with one, and I think I can get it reasonably, because she would rather sell it to someone she knows than a random person. What do yall think? I don't know much about Allis Chalmers, we used tohave a D10 when I was little, but I am generally a farmall guy.

The G is more of a collectors tractor than most others. For this reason they normally fetch a good price, more than the C or WD45 whcih are bigger tractors. A base price for a decent tractor might be $2000. If you get it for $1700 most people would think you stole it. With a few attachments and good paint they can go for $3500.
