Allis B running under load

I am restoring an allis b and ran into a little problem that hads me stumped. I just got it running after about 13 years of sitting. When it runs it seems to be running under load. I poped off the timming gear cover and it is right on time. I just put a new manifold on it, along with a valve job. Could it possibly be the carb. I know there is no main neddle ajustment just one for the air. What could it be?

Kyle, It sounds like you are checking the timing gears for being correctly meshed?? The timing mark is on the flywheel and is viewed on the left side through a small hole. Also makes a difference if your B has a magneto or distributor as to procedure for correct timing. Post back with more information and someone here will give more details. Duey
