I have a 45 that we put an engine out of a EIII combine. I had to cut 1/2" off of the end of the fan blades to clear due to different water pump location. Not sure if that would make much difference or not? It will pull no-till planter but will not pull my 14' AC disk in any gear without getting gauge over in red then putting out coolant. Have tried new cap. What do I need to do?

Don't know if you can do this with that tractor, but insure your fan is not on the wrong way. It will still move some air but not do what it should. I know it seems like a simple thing, I have done it before on a car engine. Something to look at.

14 foot disk? Wonder what soil you have? A WD45 wouldn't even *approach* pulling a 14 foot disk here in the Piedmont of SC. An 18 disk Taylor-Way offset disk harrow was about as much as she wanted, and if I recall that was about 7 or 8 feet wide at the most. May not be the tractor - may be the soil. Or it may not ....

water pump

You need the WD45 water pump with a 5/8" spacer behind it. Bore the water pump mounting holes out to 1/2" mount the 45 pump on the E3. The 45 crank pulley will fit the E3 crank if you bore out the end of it with 1.5" hole saw.

Bill,
Out of time, restricted exhaust, fuel/air mixture too lean, Radiater plugged, compression leaking into water jacket (head gasket). Any of these things could contribute to the overheating problem. Duey
