Rear engine seal leaks WD45

WE rebuilt a WD45 and when we started the engine the rear engine seal was leaking. I can not tell where the leak is. the rear engine seal has a felt gasket in it and a nother one in the kit does this seal have to be put in so their are two seals in the rear? Then the seal will cover the drain hole for the rear bearing.

Did you replace the front hydraulic reservoir seal when you had the engine and clutch out and have you filled the hydraulic reservoir full? The WD line is notorious for leaking at this hydraulic seal which will flood the engine clutch area just like a leaking rear engine seal.

I know the front seal has a felt ring in addition to the rubber but I've not seen a rear seal (yet). I do know the rear is a two piece seal (just like a car engine) and the upper half is held in a bolt on retainer (unlike a car engine).
