Did my 1939 B originally come with single rib front tires or something else?
I ran across a supplier of these and am considering swapping if it will make it more original.
Keep your powder dry,
Coz

My '39 "B" came with single rib fronts, from all the research I have done, I don't believe they were shipped with tri-rib tires until sometime in the '40s. Ken

The B manual has the front tires shown with both the single rib tire and the three rib tire. Not much help I know but I was not old enough in 1939 to remember any thing about tires.

Probably depends on when it was shipped. My 1951 CA came with double rib fronts that are still on the tractor. That's right, two ribs - not one or three. I remember all our old AC's (WD, WD45, D17) had the double rib fronts. These were late 1940's and early 1950's tractors - don't remember what year the D17 Diesel (Series I) was. All of these were narrow front end tractors, by the way.
