Wd front pto???

After driving backwards snowblowing a 2000 ft long
drive way twice my chiripractor has become very rich. Has anybody tried to add a front pto shaft on
a wd? I have a front end loader that I could mount
the snowblower to but need a power source. I have also heard of rear facing conversion kits so I could just turn the seat around and drive. Any help in this matter would be great. My chiropractor might not thank you but I shure will!!!

I have a WD45 that I have a front mounted snow blower on. It is run off the side pulley, but the pulley was replaced with a sprocket. The unit was used for clearing city streets before I got it. I have quite a bit of slope on my driveway so traction is a major factor. I run with fluid in the tires and a set of wheel weights. Traction would not be a problem if I ran chains, but they are too hard on the blacktop. It takes me about 10 minutes to blow out my driveway compared to over an hour to plow it so it is quite a bit faster. Krum

Regarding a front pto- would not be hard to do that, Local welding shop made front mounts for JD tractors two years ago. Also, reversing the tractor is easy- did my WD loader tractor over twenty years ago. Gives unbelievable traction, manueverablility, load capacity, especially visibility. Where are you in MN? I'm an hour west of TC. Might be worth the trip to see the conversion or talk to local welder. Also, fella in Hutch did these reversals for many years. Might still do it. E-mail me if interested.

You might try sitting on the gas tank and facing back and steering that way. Hand clutch will be handy for stopping. Be careful, this could be a little shakey.
