I'm considering the possibility of switching my unstyled WC from full steel wheels to rubber so it can be driven on the street. Is this a straight forward switch or are there some watchouts. Is anyone interested in a trade ( my wheels for a set of spoked rubber tire wheels).I live just north of Dallas.Thanks

What size rim/tire you looking for? I was pondering the idea of looking for some steel to switch to for use in antique plow contests. Don't really want to part with my 24" rims & the BRAND new rubber that's on them though but maybe we could work out a way to give yer steelies a new home! My WC is a '37 or 38.

I would only consider original spoked wheels for my unstyled 38 and I can't sell the steel wheels outright or I would have my tractor sitting on its hubs which I wouldn't consider. My steel wheels are worth more than the rubber ones ( the fronts must be worth quite a bit based on the calls that I have had) so I would expect good tires in the trade.I would consider purchasing the spoked rims outright and keeping my steels.

Well they're the original spoked wheels with brand new (purchased 08-2001)13.6x24 Firestones on 'em but can't just sell them outright 'cause I'd be on the ground just like you! Am really looking for steelies to purchase. Good luck in your quest sir & happy holidays.
